Chills is owned and operated by Chyna-Lily Tjauw Rawlinson, a fourth-generation jeweller and multi-disciplinary artist working alongside her dad and granddad at Bijoux Gallery, the Chills workshop.
Each item is meticulously handcrafted using locally-sourced solid 9ct yellow gold or sterling silver, and the finest naturally grown freshwater pearls, precious and semi-precious stones. We strive to create sustainable pieces that last a lifetime, employing recyclable, repairable materials, and offering repairs & alterations to ensure you can continue loving and wearing your favourite jewels.

Do you have a physical store?
Chills does not have a physical store, but is operated within Bijoux Gallery a shopfront & workshop in Ponsonby Tāmaki Makaurau. To inquire about commissioned Pieces, Chyna offers in-person meetings.
Do you ship outside of NZ?
Unfortunately Chills cannot offer International shipping just yet, but a selection of Chills jewels are available to buy online and ship internationally through Chills stockists Monty’s, Uncommon & Caitlin Snell
What is your shipping policy?
Please allow 8-14 working days for your custom order to be constructed and packaged. All orders are dispatched from Chills Workshop in Auckland, New Zealand.
You will receive an email to confirm once your item has been shipped, this will include a tracking number and courier updates will be available. Orders take approximately 3-5 working days to arrive after being sent.
All products are sent using tracked New Zealand Courier Post (Carbon Neutral Delivery) non-signature service.
What is your return policy?
When choosing your Chills Jewel please be mindful. No cancellations or changes can be made after purchase, as each piece will then made specific to the staple or custom design purchased. Items may only be returned for a full refund if the item is deemed faulty by the Chills Jeweller and is not able to be repaired or replaced.

How long do commissions usually take?
After solidifying your design with the Chyna, your piece can take from 1-2 weeks to complete + shipping time. This time may vary depending on how long it takes to source specific precious gemstones.
What are your ready to buy items?
The Staples page houses all available items for purchase. These pieces are typically in stock; if not, they have shorter waiting times compared to custom orders. Our staples encompass rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and necklaces.
What is the Family History?
The original family business Bijoux Gallery was founded in 1988 and has been based in Ponsonby ever since. Bijoux specialises in custom pieces, repairing heirlooms and sourcing precious materials for new designs.
Working alongside her dad and granddad in jewellery-making, Chyna is a fourth-generation artist and metal sculptor.
